寡不敵眾 [寡不敌众]  Guǎ bù dí zhòng To fight against hopeless odds;  we are outnumber  [kalah jumlah perlawanan] For example [例子 lì zi] 那個軍人, 為了保護國家而 在寡不敵眾的狀況之下, 來犧牲自己的性命. Nèi gè jūn rén, wèi le bǎo hù guó jiā ér  zài guǎ bù dí zhòng de zhuàng kuàng zhī xià, lái xī shēng zì jǐ dì xìng mìng. 那个军人, 为了保护国家而 在寡不敌众的状况之下, 来牺牲自己的性命. That soldier, sacrifice his life  in order to protect the country under the outnumbered situation. Tentara itu, demi melindungi negara  didalam situasi kalah jumlah perlawanan, kemudian mengorbankan dirinya.

欲罷不能 Yù bà bù néng 欲罢不能 Can not refrain from continuing Tidak dapat menahan diri dan terus melanjutkan Detail 詳情 [详情 - xiáng qíng] 想要停止卻不能夠 Xiǎng yào tíng zhǐ què bù néng gòu 想要停止却不能够 Want to quit but can not Ingin berhenti tapi gak bisa Word Bank 欲 – 想要 xiǎng yào = desire to, want so much to… [ingin sekali] 罷 = 罷休 bà xiū = to give up / cease [berhenti] 不 = no, non, not [tidak] 能 – 會 = can, able to [bisa] 停止 = to stop [berhenti] 卻 = but, instead, on the contrary [sebaliknya] Examples [例子 lì zi] 他抽菸抽得很兇, 一天能把整包的香菸都抽光光, 上癮地他罷不能了 Tā chōu yān chōu de hěn xiōng, yì tiān néng bǎ zhěng bāo de xiāng yān dōu chōu guāng guāng, shàng yǐn de tā yù bà bù néng le 他抽烟抽得很凶, 一天能把整包的香烟都抽光光, 上瘾地他欲罢不能了 He is a heavy smoker, he can smoke out a box in one day, so addicted untill he can not refrain from continuing to smoke. 枯木逢春 Kū mù féng chūn = get a new lease of life ; Spring comes to the withered tree; a good fortune that comes after a long spell of bad luck [setelah masa buruk telah habis, maka datanglah periode yang baik dan menyenangkan] means”枯干的树遇到了春天，又恢复了活力” 比喻垂危的病人或事物重新获得生机。 “Withered tree restore the vitality when the spring season come”. The metaphor of the dying patient or things to regain vitality or health again [perbandingannya adalah orang yang sekarat mendapatkan kembali kesehatannya] 隨機應變 Suí jī yìng biàn = to change according to the situation (idiom); pragmatic [berubah mengikuti sikon] 信口開河 Xìn kǒu kāi hé = to speak without thinking; to blurt smth out [asal ngomong gak mikir mikir lagi, bocor] 共同承擔 Gòng tóng chéng dān = to bear together all the consequences [menanggung bersama] 彼此密切 Bǐ cǐ mì qiè = both are so intimate, closed [saling dekat, berhubungan dekat]
